What we provide
CharacterLetter.com is a writing tool. It turns the information you give into a draft character letter and checks the draft against published guidance about what such letters should and should not contain.
Not legal advice
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Using the site does not create an attorney–client relationship. Whether and how a letter is used in a case is a decision for the person’s attorney.
Your responsibilities
- Only provide information that is true and that you know first-hand.
- Read the letter carefully, correct anything that is inaccurate or doesn’t sound like you, and sign it yourself. The letter is your statement, and you are responsible for its contents.
- Don’t use the service to create false statements, to impersonate anyone, or to write about a person without a legitimate reason.
Payments
Prices are shown before checkout. Payments are one-time charges processed by Creem as merchant of record. See our refund policy.
No guarantee of outcome
We can’t promise any result in any case. Courts, boards and officers decide for themselves how much weight to give a letter.
Availability
We may change or suspend the service at any time. Letters are deleted 30 days after creation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the letter concerned.
